things to rave about
  • Perfecting: "I really can't get over how flawless and airbrushed my foundation looks over this primer. My lines are softened, my skin looks velvety soft. Foundation looks diffused and luminous...matte, but not dry. " by trisheee
  • Keeps Makeup Fresh: "After 7 hours of wear: My makeup has not budged, in fact it looks like I just put it on. By this point in the day, I've usually blotted about 4 times. I've skipped blotting today so I could report back just how oily my skin looks and I don't even need to blot right now. I keep going into the bathroom with bright natural light and examining my face, because I can't believe this." by icesiren
  • Blurs Imperfections: "My pores and scars have been blurred to the point of being barely noticeable. I'm not sure how to explain the effect, but my eyes are always drawn to my skin issues first, but today they are drawn to my eyes." by bjborsody
  • Hydrating: "I skip moisturizing beforehand because this actually seems to hydrate the skin better than any face moisturizer I've tried (good bye flakies, you won't be missed!)." by Limey
  • Sanitary Packaging: "I found it very easy to use. I like tube packaging because I can squeeze out every last bit, and I can control the amount coming out. With pump packages I always worry that product will be uncontrolled and shoot out halfway across the room, or that it won't get every last bit in the jar... so the tube packaging is the most travel-friendly, hygienic option." by hoku
  • Dewy, Fresh Finish: "It isn't mattifying, so if you have oily skin this isn't for you. It does take away some of the shine in my face from sunscreen and leaves my skin with its original dewy finish before sunscreen." by LovelyLilies
  • Non Greasy: "I am generally not a fan of silicone primers as they feel too greasy for me or they are too greasy for me. This is neither. It goes on easily & leaves your skin feeling silky smooth." by snarkywench
  • Smooth & Silky: "It makes your skin feel very smooth and incredibly silky...Helps eliminate any dry areas remaining after moisturizing." by JazyBear89
things to rant about
  • Non Mattifying: "This is not a mattifying foundation primer. However, it is EXCELLENT for dry, normal, and combination skin (Only apply on the NON-oil T zone area). Otherwise, you will get very disappointed. It failed on my oil-T zone badly." by happysong05
  • Slippery/Slimey: "Given, it does mattify your skin on immediate application. The silicones just absorb up my natural oils and leaves me shine-free for about 5-10 minutes before I apply foundation. After foundation, it does nothing whatsoever to keep my oilies at bay. In fact, I think it made it a lot worse! Dimethicone has this slippery oily texture and that probably contributed to the icky slimey feeling I got after approx 1-2 hrs of wearing it. " by thupham2
