My Review: Bellaboo EZ Blitz Serum

What is It? This serum claims to blitz blemishes and balance skin, improving skin by taking it back to a balanced state without using any harsh chemicals. It supposedly soothes flare ups, blitzes spots, and promotes healthy, problem free skin with natural ingredients, particularly Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil and Kakuda Plum Oil. Retails for 12.99 for 50 ml at any Ulta location or online at Ulta.com.








Things to Rave About:

1) Packed with Tons of Beneficial Ingredients: This serum contains an array of oils, from bacteria fighting oils to moisturizing, soothing oils. A notorious, acne-fighting oil found in this serum is Tea Tree Oil, while the calming oils listed are Lavender Oil, Rose Geranium Oil, and Neem Oil, among several others. This product contains NO parabens, petrochemicals, sulfates, artificial colors, fragrances, or mineral oils.

2) Non Drying: Tea Tree Oil alone typically dries out the skin, but since Tea Tree Oil is not the sole oil in this serum, a decent amount of other moisturizing oils combat and reverse any dryness or peeling. Also, no aggressive, anti-acne chemicals are found in this serum, thus eliminating any of the possible irritating, harsh effects of Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide.

3) Large Tube: Even though this serum is much more advanced than the typical anti-acne, topical drugstore medication, it retails for a very comparable price. Not only that, this serum contains a hefty amount of product for the price, about twice the amount than a drugstore serum.

Things to Rant About:

1) No Powerful Anti Acne Chemicals: For those who require a rigorous facial routine, this serum would not be a good match because of the lack of Salicylic Acid and Benzoyl Peroxide, which many break-out prone individuals require to see results regarding their skin. This serum would be a great option for those who have sensitive skin or have already tried out Benzoyl Peroxide or Salicylic Acid and obtained no noticeable and beneficial results.
